"We have just returned from a beautiful & tranquil 3 day Autumn break at the Newstead Guest House in Windermere. We knew we had made the right choice as soon as we arrived, as Newstead looked splendid, as it is sited perfectly. We received a lovely, warm welcome from the owners, June & Ross, who have obviously put a great deal of thought & much hard work into achieving such a beautiful standard in their accommodation. They have also got the fine balance of letting you get on with things, but being there for you also, exactly right. Our room was cosy, extremely comfortable & nicely decorated, as was the whole of the house. The breakfasts were first class, truthfully setting you up for the day! & with a wide choice that catered for everybody. All in all, we had a really great time, very relaxed & chilled out, and the weather was brilliant for November! What more could you ask?Jane & Dave".
